Activities around Birchleigh

If you’re the walking type, you’ll love Birchleigh.

Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the Promenade, taking in the views over Morecambe Bay to Silverdale, Arnside and Morecambe. Look out for the many birds that come to the bay. A more taxing walk will take you over Hampsfell to Cartmel, where you can get your breath back in one of the many eateries there.

Cycling in and around Birchleigh.

Grange is the ideal place if you are cycling around the Lakes. Cycle Route 70 runs through Grange and it is also on the Morecambe Bay cycle route which runs from Glasson Dock to Barrow in Furness

And, there’s plenty of other things to do

Birchleigh is central to all that Grange has to offer. On the Promenade you will find a children’s play park, skateboard park, tennis courts, bowling, crazy golf and much more. There is a cafe where you can take in the view over the Bay, or just watch the world go by! There are two parks in Grange, the Memorial Park has a large duck pond and Park Road Gardens has a bandstand from where there are concerts on summer Sunday afternoons.

I spent two very comfortable nights here. My room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. John, stayed March 2013
